This is a small marketing site. Reading it collects nothing: no analytics, no cookies, no sign-up forms. If you buy Tandem, that is different, and it is described under Buying Tandem below.

The one network call

To show the current version and download links, this site fetches the latest release from GitHub's public API (api.github.com). That request is made directly from your browser, so your IP address reaches GitHub the same way it would if you visited a GitHub releases page directly. It happens automatically when you load a page that shows a download button — not only when you click one. No other data is sent.

Everything else

Static assets (fonts, images, stylesheets) are served from this site's own domain. No third-party scripts, trackers, or embeds are loaded.

Buying Tandem

Tandem is free while it is in beta and there is nothing on sale yet. When buying opens, the purchase goes through a payment provider on their own site — this site never sees or handles your payment details, and no payment form is ever hosted here.

What a purchase does record is your name and email address. They are kept in a small order ledger so that a licence can be re-issued or a refund reconciled, and they are also written into the licence file itself, which is how a licence is tied to a person rather than to a machine. That means your name and email are inside the file you receive — worth knowing before you paste it anywhere public.

Three services are involved in that path: the payment provider that takes the payment and acts as merchant of record, Cloudflare (which runs the issuance service and stores the ledger), and an email provider that delivers the licence to you. Tandem itself still sends nothing: activation happens on your own machine, with no licence server to check in with.

If you want your order record deleted after a purchase, write to hello@tandem.ink. Note that deleting it does not stop your copy of Tandem working — the licence file on your disk is checked locally and does not depend on anything we keep.
